At the official Grand Opening press conference on 9 May 2026, Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand and SBS International School Chiang Mai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalising their partnership. Mr. Jack Green and Mr. Lee Phillips, Head of School of SBS International School Chiang Mai, were present to witness the signing ceremony.
Under this partnership, SBS International School Chiang Mai will serve as the host venue and key partner for LFCIATH in Chiang Mai. ECA and Football Camp programmes will be offered for interested youth, delivered directly under Liverpool FC International Academy’s curriculum and coaching standards.
The football facility at SBS International School Chiang Mai has been fully inspected and certified to meet the standards required by Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand, and is now ready to deliver international-standard coaching. Importantly, the programme is open to all young players across Chiang Mai Province and surrounding areas — not limited to SBS students. Any child with a passion for football and a desire to develop through The Liverpool Way is welcome to join the programme at SBS International School Chiang Mai.
Mr. Lee Phillips said, “We are truly honoured that SBS International School Chiang Mai is part of Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand’s expansion to the North. This partnership will open the door for students and young players in Chiang Mai to fully access a world-class football coaching programme.”
The ECA and Football Camp programmes at SBS International School Chiang Mai will be built on LFC International Academy’s five key development pillars — Technical, Tactical, Physical, Cognitive, and Social — with the player always at the centre. All programmes will be underpinned by The Liverpool Way’s four core values: Ambition, Integrity, Passion, and Unity, ensuring holistic development both on and off the pitch.
This partnership marks a pivotal step in elevating youth football development in Northern Thailand to international standards, giving young players in Chiang Mai the opportunity to experience the philosophy of ‘The Liverpool Way’ firsthand.
