Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand officially expands to Chiang Mai

 Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand held an official press conference to announce the expansion of its football education programme to Chiang Mai at SBS International School Chiang Mai, Hang Dong District, on 9 May 2026. This marks the first time Liverpool FC’s world-class coaching programme has reached Northern Thailand.

    Senior executives joined the official opening ceremony on stage, alongside members of the press and distinguished guests from across Northern Thailand.

    Mr. Jack Green, Head Coach of Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand, said, “It’s incredibly exciting to bring The Liverpool Way to Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand. Young players here will have the opportunity to develop in all aspects of the game — technical skills, tactical awareness, physical fitness, cognitive ability, and teamwork — the same core philosophy we use at the Academy in Liverpool. We firmly believe that young players in the North have tremendous potential, and there is so much more waiting to be developed. Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand have a deep passion for football. What has been missing is access to world-class coaching. That is exactly what we are here to provide. We hope that Northern Thailand will become one of the most important regions in producing the next generation of Thai footballers.”
